CLOUD Athletic exists to protect athletes with innovative, independently tested head protection designed for the future of sport. Our mission is to combine safety, comfort, performance, and style so athletes can compete with confidence - while helping make head protection a standard part of the game.

Independently tested

We don't grade our own work. The Virginia Tech Helmet Lab buys protective headgear off the shelf, tests it under laboratory impact conditions, and publishes the results publicly - manufacturers can't pay for a better score. On the lab's flag football headgear ratings, CLOUD Halo is ranked #1 with a 5-star rating and CLOUD Halo Lite is ranked #3, also 5-star.

Built in America

Every CLOUD Halo is made in the United States with premium materials and precision manufacturing, in a design light enough that athletes forget they have it on. Protection only works when it stays on the athlete's head.

Making protection standard

Girls flag football is the fastest-growing high school sport in the country, and Georgia became the first state to require 5-star rated headgear for sanctioned play. Other states are reviewing the same standard. We want head protection to be as ordinary in flag football as cleats - not an afterthought, and not a scramble when a rule lands.
